ICHC Summer Tour 2009 – India!

Ladies and Gentlemen of the Hockey Club, following our proposal meeting in November, you have chosen to go on tour to India!

Firstly, after the sad events in Mumbai recently we have changed the trip to include Calcutta instead of Mumbai...however if Mumbai remains free of trouble in the future then we may revert to the original plan. We have made this possible by flying into and out of Delhi, which is not only cheaper, but also leaves our options open.

Now is the time to pay your deposit – just £200! (this is non-refundable and will be used to partially cover the cost of your flights – the excess is being covered by the Club).
This deposit needs to be in by the start of next term, to keep the cost of flights as low as possible.

Tour details:

Total Cost: between £378 (max funding) and £536 (no funding – highly unlikely) depending on funding from the Union.

Duration: 2 weeks.

Dates: between the dates 27th June 2009 and 12th July 2009.

Rough itinerary: Return flights from Heathrow to Delhi, hockey matches in Delhi, trip to the Taj Mahal, elephant safari in Jim Corbett National Park, train journey to Calcutta, hockey matches in Calcutta + much much more.
