President's Day

President's Day 2006

This year president's day will be held on 20th May 2006 (note that this is NOT FA Cup Final Day!)

As most of you know unfortunately Dr Hardwick has ended his links with the Club so will not be attending on the day this year. I hope we can make it another good year and I'll try and sort some sort of food out for everyone in the absence of Mrs Hardwick. The idea came up about getting Dr Hardwick a gift from club members past and present for his support and efforts over the years. If you have any suggestions or would like to contribute, just let me know.

If you've not been to Presidents Day before, it's a great day out to spank the old boys / girls at a sport they thought they were good at!! Then they try and show us how to drink, which to be honest should be the other way round but anyway. I know loads of you are on exams then so totally understand that you can't make it. However, it is a superb revision break and chance to get out in the sun and burn off exam aggression.

If you want to come, send an email to Richard Bacon to let him know. It's a good CLUB day and chance to actually socialise, which is what the summer and the club is all about!!

I for one went to President's Day in my finals year and it did me the world of good! Admittedly we did beat RSM that year... why not read about it here :)
