Croatia & Slovenia 2004

This year the hockey club sent a group of players on tour to Croatia and Slovenia. The tour was very successful and thouroughly enjoyed by everyone involved.

We stayed in Ljubljana, Slovenia and Zagreb, Croatia (click on links to see the hotels).

We left on Monday 28th June 2004 and retruned on Tuesday 6th July 2004. Whilst on tour we played 4 mathches, 2 mens and 2 mixed games. The results were:

I had a wicked time on tour and would definitely go back to Eastern Europe - the people were so frindly and welcoming and the weather was lovely!
Richard Kirk
This tour has been one of my best experiences at Imperial so far. Even though I am not the best hockey player in the world I still found I could contribute on the pitch. Off the pitch is was great to get to know people in the club that I did not know before the tour as well as having a great holiday. I would recommend a tour to anyone and I am already looking forwards to the next one :-D
